Master Teacher

In 2011, the Master Teacher Program became part of the new licensure structure. By successfully completing the Master Teacher Program, a candidate will be eligible to apply for an advanced teaching license. We are hoping that you consider applying to become a Master Teacher.

DEFINITION OF A MASTER TEACHER
A Master Teacher demonstrates excellence inside and outside of the classroom through consistent leadership and focused collaboration to maximize student learning. A Master Teacher strives for distinguished teaching and continued professional growth as specified by The Ohio Standards for the Teaching Profession. For further information refer to the Master Teacher documents located on the district web site under the staff tab. If you are applying for Master Teacher status please submit two copies of FORM G: OHIO MASTER TEACHER CANDIDATE RECOMMENDATION FORM signed by two different supervisors and/or colleagues to the Personnel Office by October 15, 2014. Your completed portfolio must be submitted by April 15, 2015. This form can be found online
If interested in applying for the 2013-2014 school year please submit Form G to the Personnel Office by October 15, 2014.
